Anyone else think that Brother John nearly passing out in church Saturday night was a little crazy? He must have been really ill to just lay down on the stage like that.

Easter Weekend at home was great; I went to Galveston Friday, learned how to longboard with my brothers, and had a great time with my family. I love Easter because it really makes me consider the death and resurrection (which I should be doing everyday anyways) and appreciate what it means.

Aggie Muster is Friday. It is always on the 21st of April, as this is Texas Independance Day and Texas Aggies appreciate Texas. I wish everyone could make it to the Campus Muster as it has yet to fail in impressing me. Few Universities that I know of could claim a tradition where alumni around the world gather to remeber their members that have passed, and with the Singing Cadets being part of the ceremony at the Campus Muster I feel like I get to add something to this.

Saturday is me going to Waco for game 2 of the A&M v. Baylor baseball series and then to Houston for mission training.

I have been reading the various discussions from the last week on freedtodelight, gregory fields, jacobeckIII, BacioItalia, dommyc, et al. Interesting, intense, insightful, inane . . . insane? I couldn't think of anymore "in-" words at the moment, but I will continue to lurk in these postings until I feel like I can contribute.

Hey! Psst! Hey Astros fans,

It's April 3rd, wake up!

It's Opening Day.

Opening Day, 162 games ahead,

the record is 0-0 and the Astros are in first place,

Every team is in first place.

There is no eleven games behind the Cardinals,

There is no World Series sweep.

Granted, there is no Roger Clemens,

There is no Jeff Bagwell,

There is no Busch Stadium (Thank Goodness),

The smell of grass, get your glove out,

Pound your fist into it and smell the leather.

It's Opening Day.

Stir up memories of great Astros teams,

Time we've all enjoyed, in front of a TV,

Listening on the radio or online,

Or scrounging around for any information

We can get, sitting in a restaraunt, asking

Someone to change the channel.

Just to follow up on our team:

The Astros, the Space City Nine,

The Colt .45's . . . do you remember the

Rainbow Astros with the scoreboard in

The background, or the gold and navy

Shooting stars? All the way to the Blood and

Mud Astros of Minute Maid Park.

Minute Maid Park, the Juicer, she is a

Grand field, with Tal's Hill,

Flagpole and all. She's seen one

World Series, an 18 inning nail-biter game,

She's seen greats like Biggio, Bagwell,

Clemens, and Pettite. The Astros are back.

The Season is back. Baseball is back my friends.

Welcome home Astros, and welcome home

Astros fans. Strap in, here we go, it's

Gonna be exciting. I'm StarStruck
